Diseases and Dangers You Will Face - Part I

Hello!
You are back to your guide on how to survive trench warfare for this War. I am Cmdr. Alfred Baptiste Laurent from the French Armed Forces, and I will guide you through this Blood and Iron war which we are going to face in the present and future. So pay attention while you read my Guide.

We will be fighting in a dirty, damp environment which guarantees dirt and disease. The 2nd part of this post will inform you  on how to survive and avoid these diseases.

That is all for now.

You Have To Fight In These Conditions...No Matter What!

NOTE: From this post onward I am British-French Army Commando, Alfred Baptiste Laurent.

Why do you think we soldiers have to fight in trenches? This will be our life from now on. This is 1910's France, we have formed an alliance with Britain to beat Germany to the ground. Germany has a large army but they are weak. Our Trenches have been dug in such a way that Germany will get so annoyed trying to get to our land, This is what our trench looks like:

Yes. This is a birds-eye view of how our part of the battlefield looks like. This may not be visible on the diagram, but every 400 feet there will be a 'separation'.

In the trenches, soldiers can do many things like:

  • Fight
  • Clean their artillery
  • Write home
  • Sleep (In tough conditions)
  • Do guard or lookout duty
  • Patrol No Man's Land.
That is all for this post.

Stay Strong, Keep Calm.

Do Your Country Proud.

Cmdr. Alfred Baptiste Laurent.

What Is 'How To Survive Trench Warfare'?

Hi!
This is H.T.S.T.W. A guide for soldiers on surviving trench warfare. It is my holiday homework for History. I decided to do it in this format because i'm experienced in IT and I have a hobby on blogging.

This is exclusively for my History Teacher - Miss B.Jones
